Endodontics

Endodontics (root canals treatment) as a separate branch of dentistry appeared in 1970’s.

Endodontic treatment is nearly the most important stage in the tooth treatment complex.

No successful further stages of dental treatment is possible without qualified endodontics.

The necessity in endodontic treatment may appear as a result of complications of caries, trauma, in case of recure of root canals etc.

The qualification of our dentists is the pledge of successful treatment in the most complicated cases (during treatment of cysts, cystogranulomas, and teeth with highly curved root canals). This allows preventing surgical intervention or even toothing extraction and saving it as a functional unit of maxillodental system.

The treatment process includes the following stages:

1. anesthesia;
2. extraction of pulp or its degeneration products;
3. mechanic and medicated processing of root canals;
4. root canal filling (obturation).

In case of significant infection in root canals, endodontic treatment may be carried out in several stages.

State-of-the-art and qualitative instruments and materials are used in our clinic for root canals system processing and filling.

After endodontic treatment is finished, the outer part of the tooth must be restored by means of restoration material or crown.
